Tasting Notes
An established, award-winning pedigree. This intense wine displays typical Darling minerality and will develop a full spectrum of flavours from green pepper to fig and asparagus.
In The Vineyard
Kapokberg translated as 'snowy mountain'. In days gone by, this hill, covered in white Spring flowers, resembled a snow capped mountain. At 459 m above sea level, it is the highest hill at Groote Post and bears the name of our vineyard selection wines.

About The Harvest
Very special vineyard sites once again produced outstanding quality grapes. The grapes were picked 10 days apart to capture different ripeness levels and aromas.
In The Cellar
Only free run juice was used and the wine was left on the lees for 5 months after fermentation.
