To launch their latest creation, Groote Post chose a celebrated ocean-view landmark, internationally acclaimed for its reimagination inspired by a single grain of corn! On Tuesday 24 October, Groote Post’s Pinch of Salt Chardonnay 2023 was released at an exclusive media event at the Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa in Cape Town, making seasoned history. This Chardonnay is something different, having been fermented in three parts: One part stainless steel, one part oak, and one part amphora vessels. The result? A wonderfully fresh wine with zesty notes, ideal for summer sipping.
